OffyReadsPrivacy Policy
- Nothing leaves your device. OffyReads makes no network connections. Reading aloud happens on the device itself.
- No account. You never sign up or log in.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
- Purchases go through Apple. We never see your payment details.
Information we collect
None. OffyReads does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal data, because it never sends anything to us or to anyone else. Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
Your books and documents
Books, PDFs, documents, photos of pages and text you add are copied into the app's own storage on your device, together with your reading position, bookmarks, chosen voices and settings. Turning text into speech and reading text from images both run on the device. Deleting a book removes it; deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Photos
When you add a photo of a page, you choose it in the iOS photo picker. OffyReads only receives the photo you pick and does not get access to the rest of your library.
Sharing from Safari and other apps
When you share a web page to OffyReads, Safari hands over the text of the page you are looking at. The share extension saves it inside the app's storage on your device; it does not load the page again or contact any website.
Purchases
OffyReads Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes the payment and confirms the purchase on your device. We never receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. If you use Family Sharing, Apple shares the purchase with your family group.
Children
OffyReads is not directed at children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age where you live, and collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
